The business was started by Michele who had begun trading on a part-time basis in Stoke-on-Trent during his time away from working as a miner. It was during this period that he realised he carried the Italian passion for ice cream. He and his wife Josephine decided to move their young family to Brierley Hill in the West Midlands where they would buy a small dairy and ice cream business to create Midland Super Cream. During the next 5 decades, Michele and Josephine have worked tirelessly to expand the business, keeping up with modern times and the ever-changing taste of the public.

Growth of the ice cream industry
Midland Super Cream is a family-run business with over 50 years of experience in the industry. During the 1960s, the ice cream trade was very different with limited products and vendors. Children would run out on the street on hearing the bell of the ice cream truck to buy themselves a treat. As a company, we have kept this tradition alive.
Family-run business
As Midland Super Cream has expanded and grown over the years, so has Michele and Josephine’s family. Three of their sons are now directors of the company, with grandchildren and other family members either working full time or helping out during peak periods. We truly are a family that has the ability, knowledge and experience to understand our customers’ needs no matter what generation. We take great pride in supplying quality ice creams from leading manufacturers.
